combining like terms using commutative property
Section 8, Problem 3.
3 + 6a + -4 + -5a --> you can move around like terms like 3 and -4, and combine them using the commutative property, since this is an addition problem.
After combining the like terms: 6a and -5a, and 3 and -4, The problem is simplified to:
-1 + 1a
Final solution: -1 + 1a

the Work:
the Work:
Since there are 3 digits in 125, the very last digit is the "1000th" decimal place.
So we can just say that .125 is the same as 125/1000.
125/1000 is not in simplest form we divide the GCD or the greatest common denominator in this case it is 125. 125/125=1 and 125/1000=8 so final answer is 1/8
